Beautiful and functional – Very stylish looking. When I found this at a friends house I had to purchase it for myself. I bought a version for my older family members so that they don’t end up spending time on the stove heating things up which could pose a fire hazard. And gets water to a boiling temperature very quickly.

Great Kettle. Very stylish – I was a bit weary when I got this Kettle because the reviews were so mixed but I’m really glad I wound up getting it. I really love the style and it looks very sleek in my kitchen. Do I have mineral build up inside it? Yes, but so did my last expensive brand one. It’s mainly due to my water being hard, and a little vinegar gets it cleaned up quickly. No other issues with it. Works exactly as intended. Water boils relatively quickly.

A little on the low quality side, but good. – Builds up on the bottom faster than my previous kettle. boiling some vinegar and water cleared it right up.

However, the downsides are that it makes a lot of noise while heating up, which is NOT something that I like in my kitchen as I watch the sunrise. Secondly, it’s relatively heavy. Due to age, osteoporosis, and multiple arm fractures, I will not be able to lift this in five years time.

I haven’t used the temperature gauge to try to get the water to a specific temp and I personally wouldn’t, it doesn’t seem precise at all, it seems for aesthetic purposes. It gets the water to a boil quickly, it doesn’t leak, and so far no issues with paint peeling/rusting. The bottom is rubber so it doesn’t slide around
