Very good but not great toaster – It is not easy to find a good toaster these days that checks all the boxes. Recently I tried at least 3 other brands and models and none of them worked as expected. This one is a great looking one with 2 longer wider slots, all controls are easy and placed conviniently on the side. Beautiful outside with stainless steel case. Why the 4 star rating ? The shade control which has a feel of a quality stereo control is usable for me only between positions 1 and 2. At 2 the toast is already burnt. Still usable but the scale goes to 6 ! For now I will be keeping this unit, for reliability can’t say anything yet.

Saves counter space and attractive design – We can finally toast any breads we enjoy of multiple sizes and cuts. We had a good laugh though that I bought tongs to get the hot toast out when there was no need. What we should have is a catchers mitt! We even thought it would be fun to line everyone up with a plate and they could run by and catch it in a hurry!

Good toaster, but crumb tray is too small – This is a great toaster: it holds 4 slices of toast, it heats reliably, it has a setting for bagels, and itooks nice on my counter. However, the crumb tray is tiny, and remains clean, while crumbs just fall out onto the counter underneath the toaster, which is frustrating.

Great Toaster For The Money – Took a chance and bought this toaster to replace a $100 Cuisinart toaster that we’ve had for maybe 6 or 7 years and the center burners had stopped toasting. I specifically wanted another long toaster to fit flush against the wall with the controls on the front. Most long toasters put the controls on the end for some reason and the few with the controls on the front start at $89 plus.

Makes 4 pieces of toast in less than twelve parsecs – but… – The toaster is ultra-thin and takes up no space… or ass little space as possible for a toaster. Great design, looks amazing, cooks toast and bagels in no time. I think because of the thing design – the heating elements are pretty close to the bread or bagel. That being said – it’s fairly thing in what you can stuff down into its jaws. I cut an 1″ piece of toast off a loaf and it barely fit. But for store bought bread and bagels it’s a sure win.

Looks nice great idea but underperforms – Beautiful lines looks good in kitchen allows for larger slices and or 4 regular slices side by side. but performance is lacking as it heats unevenly and pops toast prematurely at times. Love the two slot 4 slice design just wish someone would make a toaster that heated evenly.

Uneven toasting only issue – Bought this to replace an old proctor silex toaster that wouldn’t accomodate the slices off our favorite Aldi’s sourdough slices. This one does, and I like that I can get 4 regular pieces of bread into it at a time as well when all of us are having breakfast together. It looks good on the counter, has been easy to clean and has all the settings I wanted – temperature control, bagel feature, etc. The only thing I dont like is that most of the time, the middle of the bread is much, much lighter than the outside ends – no idea why. So you can end up with burnt ends if you want your middle dark.
