Fits the bill for traveling – Worked very well! It did require using a few times to get rid of the manufactured smell, maybe 4-5 boils and discarding of water, in order to prepare it for regular use. Once that was done it performed exactly as advertised and we were able to make espresso, hot chocolate and tea in our hotel room without dealing with the hotel coffee maker which is always of dubious cleanliness. We could also have boiled water using the outlet in the F150 so that’s good to have at hand. Would make a great gift.

It heats well. but spews very hot water. – I leaned about this from a friend I was traveling with, who brought this with her. I liked it so I bought one for my own travels. This heats up one mug at a time. Do not fill up to the max fill line, it spews very hot water out the vent hole, so keep other items away from it. The inside is stainless steel as far as I can tell, and no plastic is touching the boiling water. That said, there are internal electronics so don’t get water on the outside, and don’t expect to put it in the dishwasher. It does what is supposed to do and heats quickly. I’m keeping mine. It’s great for traveling!

Great for Vegas trips – Great for tea and hot coco while traveling. Did you kmow that they charge $1-$3 for hot water in Vegas. Yup!! Saw that this had good reviews and bought it. I loved it and used every day for my tea. Easy to put in your carry on bag and Easy to use.

helps keep us war at work! – I love my electric kettle! It is compact, easy to use and quick to heat. I did notice that I cannot fill it to the max fill line or it boils out the vent hole. If I keep it about 1/2 inch below, I have no problems and quickly have my hot tea on a cold day. It’s easy to transport with the size. Same size as a small thermos.

Great, but doesn’t shut off! – I’d have given this 5 stars if it shut off on its own. It’s very deceptive… it’ll turn off when water is hot, but then it cycles back on when you aren’t paying attention. You have to remember to press the button once it’s heated even though the light goes out. It’s my only issue with it! Otherwise easy and great. I use in our RV.

Bedside companion – Bought this to help me get up in the morning. I keep it on my nightstand. I fill it with water the night before, drop a tea bag into it in the morning, press the power button, and am awakened to a fresh, hot, cup of tea in less than 5 min. Stays very hot – I pour tea into a mug to cool down so I can drink it. Not the easiest to wash regularly due to the charging port, but if you’re using it for one type of beverage (i.e. tea OR coffee) it really just needs a thorough rinse soon after use. Excellent product. Would buy again and will gift it in the future.

It’s decent, will boil water. – I’m in college now, so ramen is a definite late night snack. I would say that the space of water is only big enough to make a serving of ramen/cup of noodles. It’s easy to use. Only thing is that once you empty out the hot water, the leftover drops will dry and create water marks that don’t go away even when washed. Also, keep in mind that the water/container will begin to heat up as soon as you plug the cup in, please be careful about that, I was surprised as I hadn’t put the cap on and to my surprise it was warming.
